Listening to Democracy Now! the past couple of days or so, one idea I have regarding a reporting idea, is to pursue the story of what ‘progressive activists and thinkers’ plan to do to ‘pressure’ the Obama administration.
What exactly are the issues. I admit that I am not clear on what the issues are. I intend to not settle for terms such as ‘progressive’ and ‘conservative’. What does it mean to be ‘progressive’ in terms of economic, social, environmental, and energy policy position?
I intend to get specific, at least about the types of questions I intend to ask people I talk to as a reporter in terms of social, economic, environmental,energy, and foreign policy.
Also, it may be interesting to inquire into what ‘non-progressives’ intend to do in terms of their strategies for dealing with an Obama administration.
