So…why is it that Obama knows that healthcare reform is the better of the two issues to address presently ? Maybe, it’s because, as you hinted, it’s the issue for which he has the most public support, among all the other issues.

A better question may be why the public cares more about healthcare reform than it seems to care about …say, our ability to feed ourselves without petroleum.

Trinity and I walked around the neighborhoods behind Graceland Monday night. We had a nice time. She’s accepted my marriage proposal.

I thought of you when I stepped inside of the building where Trinity lives. You seem to haunt the place…in a good way, if that makes sense.

I think it is a matter that Obama knows that health care reform is the better of the two isuues to try to address at the present time….at least, there actually seems to be some public support in this area As you know even the health care and prescription drug industries are offerring support for reform. That in itself is a minor miracle. Obama has charged Congress to develop the actual plan–but I am quite sure there will also be a ton of White House “input” I don’t think anyone really knows enough about the subject to discuss the “plan” yet.

Obama has not–at least as far as I know–decided to scrap his ambitious environmental initiatives. It is actually a part of his budget proposals. I assume this will be one of his next big items on his ambitious schedule.
