Followed by depoliticizing effects of hyper-erotic, ‘party culture’ with substance abuse as a mode of apolitical social bonding, rock concerts as a quasi-spiritual transcendent experience that essentially amounted to hyper-individualized consciousness instead of a political consciousness.
