Some refer to this as ‘eco-spirituality’ or ‘nature-oriented spirituality’ and “one this is concerned not with a transcendent or otherworldly God, but rather with the living Earth and all its inhabitants.” —Michael Zimmerman ‘Heidegger and Wilber on the Limits of Deep Ecology.’ By the way, Zimmerman seems to argue that deep ecology is somehow dangerous and otherwise bad.
Zimmerman says “nature-oriented spirituality has much in common with paganism, pantheism, and other religions which deny that the divine transcends the domain of ‘nature’ and its complex forces.”
