Interview questions regarding revolution

To what extent do you relate to the 99- percent- versus- the-1- percent theme?

To what extent could that theme be a way to avoid the scary realization that our country and the world needs revolutionary action, in that we focus on a group of people, the 1 percent, instead of focusing on the need for fundamental change ?

To what extent does fundamental change necessitate revolution?

At the extremes of the bell curve for benevolence, nature produces an assortment of sociopaths and saints, a few of whom get political power. But are most of us are somewhere in the middle, regardless of how much wealth we have?

To what extent do we need systemic change to undo the concentration of power within and among societies and to come to terms with ecological reality?

To what extent do you avoid saying ‘revolution’ because of not wanting to be sensationalist?

To what extent do you support nonviolent revolution? To what extent do you expect others to live up to that standard of nonviolent revolution?

To what extent does supporting the status quo increasingly seem immoral to you?

What are your thoughts on the risk of theocratic fascism in the US?

To what extent should people in the US and our government come to terms with the likely decline in US power relative to some other countries such as China ?

To what extent could clinging to being a super-power lead to increased militarism in the US and to loss of our political freedoms?

To what extent does the continued concentration of wealth in the US damage our political freedoms?

To what extent is the concentration of wealth occurring between relatively wealthy nations and the so-called Global South?

To what extent does the global concentration of wealth relate to asymmetrical warfare ?

To what extent are there moral alternatives  to revolution ?

To what extent is it better for activists to not rock the boat so as to not ‘provoke’ the US government and other governments into acting  repressively?

To what extent is such repression beginning to occur regardless of whether activists push hard or tread lightly?

To what extent do we perhaps promote political repression by not pushing hard enough as activists?

Advocating revolution is a serious step that requires commitment and courage. To what extent can one find comfort in advocating only nonviolent revolution?

To what extent is your focus on fundamental, systemic change based on spiritual love, in that you believe we need better systems, instead of focusing attention on the super-wealthy as villains?
