Repeatedly pedaled past protesters as a voluntary beast of burden last week at the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Wondering now about doing demos in support of Cirque du Soleil June 9 and 10 at the Schott.
Might involve the same folk protesting last week, only this time holding signs like: “this circus promotes kindness to animals” and giving commendation lit.
Guess folk have done this before. But as at least a thought experiment, consider taking to the streets—maybe even with signs, music, and other things that make a demonstration a spectacle—to say, generally or specifically, what we like about a business or a particular group or person in government.
How’s this portmanteau: ‘commendemo,’ from commendation and demo/demonstration, (pronounced with the emphasis on ‘men’) ?
