So far, this section is organized in three ways: (1) according to the idea that love, in a community or political sense, is a matter of striving to meet human needs (not necessarily wants) with as little harm and as much benefit to others as possible; (2) according to the idea that love involves working to help resolve that which threatens our ability or the ability of others to meet human needs; and (3) various interpersonal and communal practices such as forgiveness.
